Polo Red Entices Gamers with Race

The brand has made its ad campaign an interactive experience.

The marketing team behind Polo Red by Ralph Lauren has created the Red Race Challenge. Its a fast-paced, digital driving competition based on the POLO RED short film directed by Bruce Weber and starring Nacho Figueras.

Gamers are being asked to get behind the wheel on Ralph Lauren Fragrances’ Facebook page, and compete against a speedboat. Set on a remote string of islands, gamers are transported onto the virtual road and into the POLO RED advertising campaign. There’s even a leaderboard, which allows players to see and share their ranking against friends on the social network.

The fragrance is a mix of spicy red saffron, fresh red grapefruit and deep red wood – and it will “ignite the thrill-seeker in every man,” the brand says.

The bottle designed for Polo Red was inspired by the Ralph Lauren Car Collection, one of the world’s most prestigious collections of exquisite cars.
